Our popular Vortex bangle is loved for its easy-to-wear oval shape, and this version is dotted with vibrant turquoise, a stone that was made for summer dressing but is chic for all seasons (after all, it?s one of December?s birthstones). We love it stacked with other gemstone bangles in gold or blackened silver for a cool mixed-not-matched look.

About the stones:
Natural Turquoise: Turquoise is an opaque blue-to-green mineral, technically a hydrated phosphate of copper and aluminum. It is available in numerous shades of blue and green colors, depending on its origin. The rarest and most beautiful is the robin?s egg blue variety from the now-defunct Sleeping Beauty mine in Arizona. Turquoise is a staple of Native American jewelry and some of it is highly collectible and rare. Some varieties of turquoise, like Kingman Turquoise, display black spiderweb veins (referred to as matrix).
Metaphysical Properties: Turquoise can balance the mood and be thought of as an oasis of calm. It is a highly sacred stone for the Native American community; the Navajo revere it as a stone of good luck and protection that also represents power, status, and luxury. More generally, the stone is life-giving, restorative, and a powerful tool for recharging your physical and spiritual energy.
